Please can you tell me how many days past ovulation I am??

I've very new to Ovulation kits, it picked up a positive Ovulation last Tuesday 10th October ,today being the 18th how many days past am I ? Do I count the actual day as one of the day after.once I know I'll be on my way every month then of how to count it and understand, thank you xx
