Are these invalid?

So I am 21cd and 4 days before AF is due. I have taken 2 of the cheap tests that apparently can pick up a HCG level of 10. Both have come up negative but the control line is only half formed (will try and upload a pic) Is this invalid or shall I still take it as a negative?
