Question

Is it possible to have 4 or 5 days of positive opk's!?

I have had positive OPK tests since Thursday.. Friday and Saturday were the darkest..pretty sure i ovulated Saturday. On Sunday (yesterday) i had a positive in the morning and then very negative in the evening. Took another one today and it was almost positive.. back to being pretty dark.. anyone know what's going on!? I had an IUI Friday.. I'm afraid we didn't do it at the right time. I did not have a trigger shot.. they just went off my positive stick from Thursday. Looking bank I'm not sure if it was a true positive though..it was pretty dark..I was confident it was positive then but now not sure because it was a tad darker the next two days..I use the easy at home tests! Can anyone give any insight to this?

Not sure but I do know from experience your hormones build up for about 4 to 5 days before you actually ovulate. Then you have a surge of ovulation at the end when the egg releases. Have you been on any clomid or letrozole? My ovulation kit (my doc said to use only clear blue) was always coming up funny because the meds actually caused false ovulation surges before I actually ovulated. With that I started always having ultrasounds to predict ovulation for future iui's. Best of luck to you!
