What is going on?

I've been trying to get pregnant for a bit now. I'm 12dpo and I'm only getting very very faint lines when I take a test. (I've taken SEVERAL within the last couple of days). They aren't getting any darker. A really weird thing I've noticed on a different brand I used (first signal), as soon as the urine hits the first line it'll light up and then disappear... but then after it sits for another min or two it will come back, again to a very faint line. What's going on here??
