Question

Trying to figure out if I might be pregnant or if it's all in my head.

We were not actively trying to conceive, however I am 32 and desperately want to be a mother. We were planning on waiting until after we got married next year but we had unprotected intercourse a couple of times and when I started experiencing some unusual symptoms I started researching and discovered that if I ovulated at the average time that's right in the middle of when we threw caution to the wind. I would now be approximately 11dpo but my pregnancy test this morning was a not pregnant.
We want nothing more than for me to be pregnant and i am having all kinds crazy symptoms. About a week after possible ovulation I had cramping for a couple of days, I have been off and on nauseous, my sense of smell is super sensitive and things that used to smell good to me are now making me sick. Same thing with tastes, even my morning coffee no longer tastes good.
This morning I started some mild, left sided cramping again. Could I actually be pregnant?!

Did you notice any Implantation bleeding? I am 10 dpo today and have had mild cramps since I ovulated and have recently came down with a cold. When is your expected period?

I did not have any bleeding but I did have a couple of days of cramping at 6&7dpo and very very slight cramping at 8dpo. Now at 11dpo I am having some mild and intermittent cramping again. I am expecting my period between Monday and Wednesday. I also have PCOS so things are not always regular but I have been pretty regular for the last year, give or take a couple of days.

I don't have PCOS but my expected period is Wednesday and have very similar symptoms as you. Have you tried the discussion forum for either April 2018 or May 2018 babies (depending on what your due date is)? Lots of wonderful ladies in there who also may be able to help give you some insight. I just came across it awhile back and have been using ever since. Sorry I couldn't be much help. Fingers crossed for you. :)

I have not tried the discussion forum, I'll have to try that. Thank you, I am new to the site and am not really sure what I'm doing. Fingers crossed for you as well! I'm not the most patient person and right now even my usual amount is impossible to find.... This waiting is driving me crazy!

Oh I hear you. In May I had almost every symptom in the book, excess cm, got a cold, all the pinching and pulling, etc only to get AF a few days later. Trying not to get my hopes up this month as I have very little symptoms except for cramping since O.

I know what you mean. Although I have been having symptoms I am trying not to get my hopes up because I know how devastated I will be if I'm not pregnant. The odds are stacked against me and so is time, given my age, but that won't make it any less upsetting.

If the test you took was a digital, they aren't very sensitive or good for early pregnancy detection. Try a first response six days sooner. They are the most sensitive and I've gotten a faint positive as early as 9dpo.

Unfortunately, it was a first response 6 days sooner that I used this morning.

You could still be pregnant, some women don't have as strong of hcg as others. I had a friend that all her pregnancy tests were negative until a week after her missed AF.

I really hope that's the case. I am having so many symptoms that I'm having a really hard time not getting my hopes up. My pms can be bad sometimes but never like this!
