Do OPK's pick up HCG? NEED HELP!

AF is due today. I am 15 DPO. I have had no symptoms of af so I took an OPK test and a HPT this morning. Not with FMU, maybe an hour hold. The OPK immediately started turning positive and the hpt remained negative. I waited about 1 1/2 hrs and took another OPK, it was positive as well.
These test say wait 20 minutes for results to be accurate so the picture was taken about 19-20 minutes.
How could I have an LH surge when my period is due?
Am I ovulating?
Or could this be an early indication of pregnancy?
