Question

I just got my positive OPK.. should I BD today?

Has anyone heard of or following the shettles method? I have 3 boys (10, 7 and 4) and my husband and I are trying one more time for our girl!! I've read Dr. Shettles book and read so many posts where it has worked and my doctor swears by it. It says to BD 3-5 days before your ovulation day for a girl and for a boy it's usually the day before ovulation and on your ovulation day. I just now got my first positive OPK and we didn't BD last night because we both fell asleep :( the last time we did it was Sunday night so I can't decide if we should BD when he gets home from work or if we should chance it. We'd honestly be so excited to have another boy but Im really trying for a girl this time because I'd love to have a girl!! What do you ladies think?

It is true that you can sway the odds that way, but nothing is guaranteed. It's ultimately up to you whether you want to go for it and have higher odds of having a boy, or wait and have better odds of having a girl. Good luck!
