Clear blue opk smiley face
So I stopped taking my bc pills in December and I have had a very irregular period ranging 33-58 days. Last month was 38. I started using the clear blue opk this month but by the time I bought it, according to the ovulation calculators I would have already ovulated about 2-3 days before, but I still took a test just to see and it was negative. 3 days later I took it again just out of curiousity and it was positive.(smiley face) I have taken 6 tests so far, 4 in the mornings and 2 of them were at night after taken in the morning and they were still all positive. LH surge on these tests say they only last a day or possibly 2. I called the clear blue help line and she told me according to my cycle ranges that I gave her I should have od around day 23-24 and it is now day 30. I have gotten positives for 4 days in a row now. Does anyone have any clue what could be going on!?

I remember someone telling me once that the tester was basically done once it showed a smiley face; that it needed some time to "restart itself" before it could be used again. Try leaving it off for a week or so and then see if it gives you a negative. If it's still a smiley face, then I'd get a new tester.
