Is it implantation or period

We've been trying to conceive for the last 8months

My period came on June 20-26, I had a week of unprotected sex (tmi) June 29 - July 8th I woke up on the 9th of July with a full bladder went to the bathroom it was a little bit of brown blood in my underwear later during the day it got heavier and then lighter again, the next day it was nothing at all until that night it was blood but not heavy as it usually be. The next day was spotting. My period usually is 6-7 days long but this was only 3-4 days long. I usually cramp but I didn't at all. My period is due on the 20th what could this be?
