Is it possible??!!!
I had a doctors appt today for my yearly(which I found out you only need every 5 years now...). Told my dr we decided to ttc, this is my 2nd cycle. I also told her we were going to Mexico at the end of the month.
She'd recently spoken to another woman about the Zika virus, so.....
she decided to have me get a blood test to see if we conceived BUT I'm only 7 DPO. She's the dr but I didn't think a blood test would show anything this early, have you heard of someone finding out this early???

Of course it came back negative, which is disheartening, but she did say implantation probably hadn't happened yet. She does want me to have another test done next week because of the cdc warnings about the virus.
So, if I'm pregnant, she said we need to use condoms for 6 months after we've been to Mexico. If I'm not, we need to wait 6 months before we try again. Breaks my heart to wait but I know it would break my heart more if somehow the virus hurt my child!
