My tests never really get darker than a faint or standard positive; and they're never consistent. I even tried using the same sample once with three tests from the same box (FRER no less), they all had different degrees of darkness. My guess is the tests vary as well as the sample given (you could be more hydrated one day and less the next, time of day may make a difference too). Try not to worry (so much easier said than done, I know), as long as it's still showing up positive you're officially pregnant.

I have been testing since 9 DPO and got a very faint positive on that day. Since then each time I test the colour has gotten a little bit darker each time. I am now 16 DPO. Hoping it sticks.... Had a miscarriage in March. Best of luck to you too!

I would like to say no but yes they should be getting darker the only time mine haven't is when they ended in mc as the hcg levels just weren't strong enough. I could be wrong and I hope I am. Good luck baby dust

Thank you ladies for trying to ease my mind. I think I was just over testing. I waited a few days and took one today and it was showing up before it even reached the control line. And it is definitely dark. Same as the control. I was just panicked. Thank you!
