14 days late , no pregnancy symptoms?

I am afraid to take a test because I will be very disappointed if it is negative . My period is 2 weeks late as of today .any advice ):

I am two weeks late today as well. However I have been experiencing EP symptoms with negative HPT. I am going in for a lab this afternoon. They say being late doesn't always mean pregnancy, but it is very difficult not to get your hopes up. Baby Dust and keep us posted with the outcome=]
