Mid cycle spotting 1st time ever at 44 yo

In May my cycle was 3 days long and brown spotting only. May 11,12 & 13th. I was going to test on June 6th but started spotting pink watery that morning so assumed it was my period. It was off and on for about 6 days. June 6-12th. not sure exactly when I o'd but yesterday I had brown spotting again twice when I went to pee and nothing since. I obviously did the dance yesterday and today in case it is ovulation spotting . In all of my years of menses I have never had mid cycle brown spotting around time of ovulation.
Is this a good sign. I haven't tested and won't. I have spent the last 7 yrs as a POAS addict and just don't have the strength anymore.
I'm 44 and would love a baby but I am scared shit this is peri menopause. Any thoughts or ideas?

Am I preggo or peri meno?
