Question

How dark does a HPT line have to be for it to be a positive?

I'm 14 dpo and I'm getting a vv faint line on every test I take. The lines have color and show up within 3 min so I know they're not evaps. TIA!

They should get darker and more obvious every day. Try to use red dye - blue dye is horrible.

Doesn't matter how dark it is, if you have a second line then your pregnant

I agree with both dmentia & mummyheff. A second line of any kind is usually positive. 5 units or more = pregnant. Most tests don't usually register a result until a minimum of 14 units for early tests and 20 for regular tests depending on the brand. So any line most likely means you're pg. You're early - so watch it over the next few days and see if it darkens.
