2 days late, no sign of AF, neg First Response

I'm 2 days late, but pregnancy test is negative. I've had preggy symptoms off and on the past two weeks. Not having any now, besides ratting a lot and occasional upset stomach, but no cramping our adn't signs of AF. I'm rarely ever late and when I am I always have pms signs.

Anybody have any ideas? I would think that if I was pregnant that the test would be positive by now. Weird cycle?

Your hcg may not be high enough to register on the hpt yet. Most don't register hcg until 20 units and the "early detection" tests can be start around 14 units. If you still don't get your AF in a few days, test again. It could just be too early still.

Thanks for responding. I used the 6 days sooner first response. With my other two children I got strong positives right after my missed period. I'll see what it does through the weekend and test again Sunday or Monday morning.
