Very faint line on pregnancy test
My husband and I have been trying for a baby. I should have started my period yesterday but didn't. I took a home pregnancy test and there was a very faint line there. Today I'm experiencing some dull aches in my abdomen. Not so much cramps. Could I be in the very early stages of pregnancy?

My line on the day of my missed period was very light. I ovulated later in my cycle, so I am "earlier" in my pregnancy. I took another test, now 4 days late for my period, and have a nice, dark line! They say on these forms a light line is still a positive! Sending you baby dust!!!

I did a Clear Blue pregnancy test tonight & it said "not pregnant". I still haven't started my period. Now I'm even more confused! Does that definitely mean I'm not pregnant then eventhough yesterday's regular test had a very faint but noticeable line? Thank you for the baby dust!

LieselW - home tests vary in how sensitive they are to hcg. Many don't register until 20 units are detected. Some of the "early detection" tests will start at 14 units. Test again in a few days. It could just be that your hcg hasn't risen enough to detect on the home test. Keep testing until you get a positive or if AF shows up. Until then, you're kind of in limbo unless your dr does a blood test.
