unsure of my test result, i had spotting from the 1st through the 12th of april, still no period

I have a 2 yr old daughter, since ive had her ive had a normal cycle normally the 15th to the 18th every month, in april on the 1st i woke up spotting and continued spotting through the 12th, then a week later one day of spotting. Its now may 17th and still no period, i took this test and got the faintest little line
