Chemical pregnancy? So confused
So I thought I got a full period Saturday morning. It was light but enough to be considered a period. Then it slowed down to spotting again and picked back up to light / light medium period.
I dont know why I thought I should take a pregnancy test the next day. But I felt like I needed to. And it's a faint positive.
It's now Monday, bleeding has stopped. I took a test this morning and it was slightly darker. I got my blood taken today and the Dr called and said my number was low. But she didn't tell me the number and today iIt all sounds like a chemical pregnancy. But I started bleeding on 9 dpo. Normally I don't start my period until 14dpo. I took at 8dpo and it was negative but 2 days later after bleeding had started, I got a positive?
. Could it just be heavier implantation bleeding? If it is a chemical pregnancy when will the test change to neg.?

I had a chemical pregnancy this month. The only way I knew was with blood work. My levels were low on the first blood draw, and on the second blood draw they dropped to near nothing. I never took more HPTs after I got my 3 positives, but I am planning on taking one today, to see if the HCG is cleared out of my system.

Did your doctor order follow up blood work? If not maybe you should ask to have the test redone in a few days.
I had a similar thing happen, had a positive then light bleeding and still positive. I ended up have an ectopic pregnancy. I'm not saying that you are going to. Because some women do have light bleeding in early pregnancy. But I would make sure your HCG levels are doubling. Good luck. My fingers are crossed for you x
