Question

Ectopic pregnancy

I had an ectopic pregnancy and surgery to remove my tube on May 26th. I'm having a hard time dealing with my emotions general healing. Any advice on how to deal with the emotional side of it? Or how long until I will have a normal cycle again?

I had an ectopic as well and lost 3/4 of my tube on one side.. Its HARD. your baby passed. I actually bought a box and buried it with a note and an actual peanuts inside. ( I had twins but miscarried after the ectopic). Its ok to grieve. Its NORMAL. Feel sad, feel angry, deal with it on your terms...
I had a normal cycle the following month as I had excellent doctors and my hcg went to ) pretty fast after the loss.

My sister had an ectopic and lost a fallopian tube as well - and I have also expereinced miscarraiges as Squishy1 said - its HARD. And there aren't a lot of people who will know exactly how to respond and comfort you which makes it even harder. If you are a Christian - press into God - and give yourself room and time to grieve. I had put myself on a timeline to get over my grief, but realized I would never fully get over it nor did I want to forget my child.

We also buried one of the babies I miscarried and found it to be incredibly healing and brought us some closure. I set my focus on other projects after my initial phase of grief as well.

The last thing I'll mention just to give you a little hope on the baby front. My sister, after her Fallopian tube was removed, became pregnant on her next cycle with my nephew and had a complication free pregnancy and now a beautiful 6 year old, and now she is 10 weeks pregnant again. :)
