Would I count the first day of my miscarriage the first day of my cycle?
So I missed carried on April 12th the doctor told me to count it as the first day of my period. My ovulation calculator Said I should ovulated on April 30th. We bedded on 4/28 CM was wet slippery and open. I'm confused because my CP rose up some on the second and started to close on the 3rd. I am now completely closed. I have had cramping the last couple of days and now my back is cramping and I'm feeling light headed every now and then . I really don't think I had any fertile cervical mucus after the 29th it's been kinda white and not very much there. Pretty dry today and last night . Also wondering if it's possible to be experiencing very early signs of Pregnancy? I don't usually cramp like I have been

My colleague was also told that it would be her first day of cycle after she miscarried but she is still trying, but took a few months off after miscarriage. Good luck.
Also wondering if you would be able to answer a question I have please...
I don't want to sound stupid but I keep reading about women who are checking their cervix to see 'how high' it is.
I have tried a couple of times this last week but cant help but can't feel anything. I don't know if that is me doing something wrong to check or if it is high...wondering this as AF is late and got plenty yellow tint CM this week.
Any tips on how to actually check it and what am I feeling for?
