Question

So confused- AF not expected until one week later +42 days cycle), but already at 21 dpo!

Hi all, I am 34 and TTC for about 6 months. My cycles have always been irregular and have been getting longer each month ( i.e. 35 days to 48 days in past few months) I ovulated (confirmed via OPK) on March 18, which means I am about 21 days DPO now. Tested BFN this morning. Wondering if I should still have hope as I am CD 35 now ( which is short for me) until around CD 48 for AF... Or would a DPO of 21 days already mean the pregnancy would've showed up if I am indeed pregnant ?

If af arrives, I would strongly recommend temping next cycle. Opk's don't guaranty or confirm O, they only let u know the hormone to initiate ovulation is present and u may *attempt* to O. Having irregular cycles makes things hard, so add as many tools to ur ttc arsenal as possible. Opk and bbt are the main ones. Mucus and cervix position are also helpful. Going by the info u gave, I would say u didn't O when u think u did.
Good luck! =))
