Am I just a horrible person?
2 girls in 2 months have announced they are expecting. They are all lovely girls and I am delighted for them, knitting for them and can't wait for these babies to appear. Up until now I don't mind where the babies come from as long as they are about.
A 3rd has now announced her pregnancy, she is as lovely as my other pregnant colleagues, but I can't summon an ounce of enthusiasm. After 3 years getting negatives, due to male factor, Now on IVF waiting list. I just feel like I've been stabbed in the heart. I know it's not their fault, but it's not mine either. Am I a terrible person?

No, you're not horrible. I'm sure what you've been going through has been very emotionally taxing, and really heartbreaking. You shouldn't feel bad for how you feel. Just don't let it sneak out in mean ways. And take care of yourself-a nice day out, some romantic time, whatever. You have the right to your feelings.

Heatherfuls, how sweet of you thank you.
I took the opportunity to offload on my boss and friend who understands our journey to date. I now feel really guilty, because these girls they are really great, which is also silly. However I'm a big knitting fiend, I will continue to knit up a storm for these beautiful babas and take joy from them either way.
Thanks again, Jx

You are not horrible at all. I feel the same way, have gone through 4 pregnancies at work, 1 just announced and my sister is due in August and I have gone through 9 IUIs all negatives, 2 failed IVFs and 1 cancelled IVF. It is so hard to see everyone around you getting what you want so badly. I can't tell you how to handle it, because I'm struggling myself. I just keep praying that my turn is coming and I'm going to be able to announce the good news soon :-) Just hang in there!
