Question

How dark are opk lines in week before period (2nd surge)?

I have had very *near* positive opk tests for five days and my period is due now. Do the test lines normally show up almost as dark as control line just before period? And if so, how many days does this normally last?!
I have negative pregnancy tests, but both my other pregnancies didn't show positive until 6 and 9 weeks, so I could be pregnant. I know OPK can indicate pregnancy and pick up hcg and I know it's usually a pregnancy test that will show positive first, but I've heard of it happening the other way around, too. I'm guessing it's just the second surge, but I'm thrown by the five days of pretty dark lines!

Mine go positive around 5-7dpo for a day, then again about a day or two before af arrives, for about a day. The positives I get are darker than the control line kinda dark. I've never had a positive opk (that isn't a normal mid-LP surge) before a hpt showed a line. I usually have one the following day tho.
Good luck! =))
