I have PCOS but have not had regular periods. My cycles range from 35-48 days. That being said, I went through tests and monitoring of regular cycles and aside from my cycles being unpredictable, everything else seemed to be ok. I ovulated on my own, though late, and no issues with my tubes. My fertility doc says he's confident I'll be able to conceive using only Letrozole and progesterone. When you start going to the clinic, they'll likely want to monitor you for a cycle to see if you are ovulating. Also importantly, they'll see when you're ovulating. Then they'll come up with a plan going forward. It's one thing to take clomid, but it's another to take it and monitor your cycle. It's possible you're just having bad luck with timing! Oh, they'll also likely want to test your DH, just to make sure all is good on his end. I hope things end up working out quickly for you, good luck!

I have pcos diagnosed when 18 ...i got pregnant at 20 ...i had taken birth control to help regulate me a little more and I had dropped about 30 lbs...i stopped taking birth control because I didn't want my body to depend on it and not be able to do on its own I fell prego.... Didn't find out til almost 4 mos. Didn't pay it any mind that I hadn't had a period because I had stopped the be figured it was the pros then I ate a chicken wing and got sick.... Then nausea if I didn't eat took test bfp took another nap still couldn't believe went to hospital bfp went to health clinic bfp given info I was 3 mos 3/4 weeks.... My son is 4 now his father and I hadn't used protection since 3 wks after his birth... Iv taken test gotten faint pos that disappeared and a week late period.... I took a First response 6 days sooner a couple days ago it was faint but there and pink then it got lighter and lighter and now it's gone so.... Ur not alone
