You should try the strips or temping so that you have the most accurate estimation of ovulation so you know when to BD. But based on the dates you provided (and using averages): March 29-April 2 are your fertile days. But this is based on a tracker that assumes you ovulate mid-cycle.

I'd say its worth it. The opk will tell you when your body's getting ready to ovulate, and if you track your temperature too you'll be able to tell when you ovulated (take it first thing in the morning before you get out of bed or move around too much; you should see your temp jump up about a half a degree after you've ovulated). You should use the opk about a week after your period ends. Your best bet is to have intercourse at least every three days until after your see your temperature rise; but at the very least you should have intercourse after the opk gives a positive result and every day after that for another three days or so.
