I say enjoy your pregnancy as a couple for now. Once you spill the beans, you'll get all kinds of (sometimes not really wanted or helpful) advice. Congratulations!

I think I may of made my mind up it's my other halfs mums birthday on 6th April making me 6 weeks and 5 days. My parents live abroad but my mum happens to be coming home on the 6th April so think I will tell them then as I don't know when I would next see my mum. I would rather do this face to face than on the phone. She goes home on 10th April in the afternoon and I will have my booking appointment that morning don't think I could keep it secret much longer than that. Thanks for the advice though

Oh! Then absolutely! If she lives abroad and you never get to see her then I'd definitely tell her face-to-face! This kind of news really is the best when you can see the reactions. :D

Suggested this to my other half he has agreed. Going to tell parents not to tell anyone else in the family until we have had our 12 week scan.
