6.55 mL Progesterone - does this indicate ovulation?
My husband and I have been TTC for over a year. This morning, my OBGYN wanted to test my progesterone levels, since I had a +OPK last 02/21. My results say 6.55mL, but I'm not sure if that indicates ovulation occurred. I'm on 6PO, I believe. Does anyone know anything about progesterone, and what levels indicate ovulation? I have a cycle every month, but I'm not certain that the quality of my ovulation is sufficient.

Thank you, Dakotagurrl! Yes, I am in the US. I am still waiting on the call from the Dr. to see what exactly needs to happen. She did say that if I didn't O, or it was a weak O, I can Clomid. I've never taken that, nor do I know anyone who has taken it. Do you recommend this medication?

Clomid should help....my daughter is a clomid baby (well, clomid and isoflavones). It helps ur egg(s) to mature and usually increases progesterone levels (due to the maturity of the egg(s)). It's not a one size fits all drug, some women have great success with it, others end up moving on to something else. I would definitely give it a try if given the opportunity. Sometimes all u need is a little boost!! =))
