PCOS help
I have PCOS and my periods won't stop I have had a period for 54 days now my doctor wants me to get on birth control but every time I'm on birth control it makes me really depressed and gain weight and I hate it. I'm not really trying to get pregnant it's more of if it happens it happens but I really don't want to prevent it does anyone have advice for me on what I can do ?

Hi Sammy - so sorry you are going through this! I myself have struggled with PCOS for years. Strangely enough, I found something unusual that worked for me. After my Dr's told me I couldn't conceive naturally due to irregular cycles and not ovulating, I talked to my massage therapist about it and for 2 months she did what is called lymphatic drainage (only certain therapists have training in this area) once a week, and she also would massage on my abdomen and uterine area-and within a month I had a regular 28 day cycle and by month 2 I was pregnant. Maybe a coincidence, and probably doesn't work for everyone-just thought I'd share! Sure wish someone had told me about it earlier! Good luck!!
