Question

23 year olds...

I turned 23 in November of 2016. My husband and I decided that would be the first month to start trying. It's now February and we're still not pregnant. My husband will be 28 this 4th of July. I know getting pregnant, and speed of getting pregnant is different for everyone. But it just seems like all the other early 20 year olds I know have no problem. This is the first month I started taking prenatals and started using conception friendly lube.
We're just really excited to have a family, so I don't know if four months is 'long' or if we're right on track?

If you are using ovulation sticks you need to remember that they pick up a LH surge 24-36 hours before you ovulate if you are only ttc on the day you see this you maybe not doing it on the day you actually ovulate. Although ttc a few days before ovulation is also recommended you maybe missing the day you Ovulate.

My husband and I started TTC when I was 18, and didn't have a viable pregnancy until I turned 23. I know that's rare, but not every 20 something gets pregnant easily. If I remember correctly, it's something like 85% of healthy couples get pregnant in the first year. After that is when to worry.
Track ovulation and try at the right times for now. 4 months isn't so bad! Try to stay positive :)
