I can't tell if I'm having implementation bleeding, help!!

My period was due February 9th, now it's February 15th! I started spotting, (no feminine products needed) February 14th. Now today a panty liner is required but could last the entire day if I choose. What's showing is dark and very mucusy. I have had cramps but they don't hurt near as bad as usual. I have not taken a home test because I don't trust them because when I was 5 months pregnant with my son a home test was negative. Even though my husband and I have children by other ppl we have been trying for 4yrs. So I'm nervous.
