I have an egg but not ovulating?
I went to see my gynecologist yesterday and she did an internal ultrasound. She saw that my left ovary has an egg which is weird because i JUST ended my period on 5th Feb and it's only been 4 days since.
She told me to take an ovulation test today to see if I have ovulated. I took it and it was negative. She gave me Duphaston pills to regulate my period. So since it's negative now I will have to take it on the 15th day of my cycle.
I'm just wondering how I have an egg and not ovulate? Because I saw it right there. But nothing is happening :\

this is not quite clear to me - what do you exactly mean under ended period? the cycle starts with the first day of bleeding, and it is not important how long the bleeding lasts. so if you ended bleeding on 5 Feb, but the bleeding actually started on 31 Jan for example (which was cycle day 1) then it is absolutely normal to see a follicle on 9 February (cycle day 10). some women even ovulate before the bleeding ends.
i would keep using OPKs, the surge shall probably come.
