Question

Positive 6dpo negative 8dpo

Has anyone else experienced a faint but clear positive at 6dpo but then a bfn thereafter I'm now 8dpo (not definite, but pretty sure). It's so disheartening:(

if you are sure about your dates then probably it was an evap. the hcg only starts being produced after the implantation, and the implantation can only begin on 6-9 dpo. and then it needs a couple of days to reach a detectable quantity. so the earliest one could test is 8-9 dpo. most only get their bfp around 12 dpo. you are not out until af comes. baby dust!

Going by my cycle which is pretty exact each month then I should of ovulated on the 30th, did the business that night and again on the 1st. The lines come back on my first 2 within minutes, hence why I was so confused, and was convinced they weren't evaps. I think you start to fully convince yourself you are pregnant so it's heartbreaking to now see negative. I'm going to leave it a couple days now, then try again, saves disappointment everyday. Thank you x
