Question

So sad after Chemical PG. Advice of hope :-(

I'm devestated, we tried while we were away for new year and I felt pregnant almost immediately after. 7 days later I had brown spotting so Googled and found it was normal... but it continued (not heavy but didn't stop), I took a test on the 11th Jan and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks. We were so happy but a niggling feeling made me question myself, and on the 13th I started a heavy-ish AF :-( Roll onto this month's cycle and we tried again on the 24th and 25th of Jan, I OV on the 27th. I've felt nausea and dry heaving and been craving a lot of salty foods and gone off coffee, feel heavy and had pinching/pulling on dpo7. Now I'm 10dpo with no spotting but still feel full in my stomach BUT I'm having AF symptoms not just cramping but the feeling, I took a test and it says neg.... I'm gutted. Someone please give me hope after chemical, I feel like I'm making the symptoms and feel I will never have a baby xx

sending hugs your way! try to keep your chin up. I know its probably feeling impossible now, but whatever happens is meant to be. I've been TTC for 2.5 years - unexplained infertility - and now doing IVF. We are on our 3rd embryo transfer. I've never seen a positive pregnancy test from myself. The ONE thing that always keeps me going is knowing that whatever is happening now is meant to happen. I'm positive that your time will come! Just keep smiling and take each day as it comes and appreciate the time you have together with your partner :)

i know this is devastating but chemical pregnancies are very very common. up to 80% "pregnancies" end up in chemicals, but women who are not actively ttc and do not test early do not know they have them, they just think they get a heavy period and that's it.
and women do get pregnant after a chemical, and even after a real miscarriage. it is actually a good sign that you are able to get pregnant! next time it will work.
don't get discouraged. baby dust and hugs.

Hi, I am in the same boat as you i started bleeding on the 13th Jan after a chemical pregnancy i was 5 days late for my period but got a positive test on the 5th Jan and like you got the pregnant 1-2 weeks. I started spotting on the 7th Jan and was sent for a scan where they couldn't see anything. I ovulated on the 29/30th of Jan and have tested this month and have had negative results. From using calculators and apps they are telling me my period is due on the 11th of Jan so i would hope to see a positive result now especially when using the very early tests that say they can pick it up 6 days before. I am trying to stay positive
