Question

Positive line staying the same !

Hi I need some advice I took a first response pregnancy test yesterday around 1 and the test came up light positive but definitely noticeable. Then I took another test this morning when I woke up around 8 and the test looks the exact same as yesterday could it be just me worrying or does it take time for the hcg to double ?

I know that is frustrating. I am 16 dpo now, had IUI and at 12 dpo hcg was 25, faint line. 13 dpo a bit darker. 14 dpo and the line was a bit lighter than the day before. I was convinced it was another chemical. HCG that same day right after I took the FRER was 78. Goes to show you can't always rely on the darkness of the line.

For the first few days the line won't change much. Early on you won't notice changes in line darkness because hcg is too low even if it is doubling. If it doubles from say 10 to 20...that's not a huge change. But if you wait a few days you will notice if it jumps from say 100 to 200. Just give it time and maybe try testing every other day.
