Cervical mucus

Is cervical mucus pasty and tacky before a period? If you have conceived would be white, wet and stringy? Somewhat similar to EWCM only white in colour? 8DPO, AF due in 7 days and wondering, could I have conceived!

Unfortunately there really isn't a consistent CM pattern that indicates whether you are pregnant or not. If it's different than your usual pattern then that could be a good sign, but it also might no mean anything. I've been pregnant twice and haven't noticed anything consistent about my CM. It varies a lot from cycle to cycle in the two week wait regardless of whether I'm pregnant or not.
