Question

6 days late, negative hpt, light spotting today?

My cycle is 26 days and I ovulated on the 2nd of January. I'm now 6 days late and have taken a few hpt, all negative. I should preface this with the fact that this would be my third pregnancy and both times I was pregnant hpt came back negative, was only detectable by blood test. I was both times put on progesterone because my hcg lvl was so low. I went on to have two healthy term babies.
I started spotting a bit this morning, and although I know some spotting is okay (on my second pregnancy I spotted a lot early on) but I won't see my doctor till next week, and I'm scared that if I don't get the progesterone soon I'll miscarry.
I have many symptoms I remember from my last two kids, so I'm very sure but my doctor doesn't seem to see the rush.

Anybody else have this situation? Can I get a pregnancy test through a walk in clinic or naturopath whom I'm seeing tomorrow on unrelated issues.

low hcg in itself is not an indication for progesterone, only low progesterone would be so probably the best advise would be to listen to your doctor - but i do understand the worry, i too ran to the clinic every two days to check my hcg/prog levels, and would do that again, i think being too nervous is the worst thing for the pregnancy. i don't know about naturopaths (here in Europe they would not do blood tests) but surely a hospital ER or a walk in clinic can draw your bloods. good luck!
