Beginning Ovulation Test Question

I have not used the Ovulation Tests before and this month I am starting. I just finished my period today and my cycle is normally 24-26 days long and my period lasts 3-4 days. When should I start testing?

probably from cycle day 7-8. with a 24 day cycle you could ovulate around day 10-11 but better start a couple of days in advance.
the length of the bleeding is irrelevant. the cycle starts at day 1, whether the bleeding lasts 2 or 7 days or more, the riping of the egg begins from day 1.
