Ho there!
I'm sorry to hear about your bleeding! I'm no expert in any way, this is just my own thinking if it would have happened to myself:
Have a pregnancy test first of all just to check. Do you track your ov?
The pain is probably uterine contraction because your body needs to get rid of old tissue, like that liver thing, which is a piece of the lining in the uterus to create a good home for the egg.
It can be an early miscarriage from an earlier intercourse, it can also be ov-bleeding, but it sounds to o heavy for that.
My advice would be to take an hpt. If pos, check your agenda to see when you had intercourse before the 20th.
If neg, wait and see how the bleeding continues. You might like to see the doctor, since there always is a risk of x pregnancy.
Even if you are not trying, always keep track of ov, it helps to figure out what's going on if something like fi bleedings occur. Always visit your doc if bleedings continue!

If it was/is a miscarriage, I would get a blood test ASAP. If it already happened your hcg levels will still be higher than normal. Even if it isn't, the hcg test will tell you if you are pregnant. If it's just abnormal bleeding your doctor should be able to tell you what's causing the bleeding.

You might want to call your doctor's office and consult with them if you think you are having bleeding symptoms that aren't normal for your body.
