BFN @ 13DPO- am I out?
I have an average cycle of 27 days. For the last 6 cycles it's been 28, 27, 28, 27, 26, 28. I didn't use any OPK this cycle, so I think I O'd on CD 16 or 17. I should have had my period on 12/5, but I have no symptoms. I finally tested with a FRER last night and it was a BFN (held pee for 5 hours). I admit, I was heartbroken because I thought my "symptoms" were much different than any other cycle I can recall. Isn't FRER one of the most sensitive tests? By now, it should have showed a BFP even if the line was very light. Maybe I'm just too old (38) and my body is gearing up for menopause. (There's that negativity). I wish I could try BBT as I don't trust OPK from my past experience. I just don't quite understand charting. Defeat is the worst feeling. Now I just wish the witch would show so I can move on!

Also if you get an app like fertility friend, bbt is pretty easy. Even on here it helps. You just take your temp as soon as you wake up in the am (get a good bbt thermometer), before you even get out of bed. Your temp should rise after you ovulate so it helps to pinpoint. It really helped me figure ovulation out.
