Question

if I ovulated 6days late 11/2 and not 10/27 per my calendar, why would a one time beta of 88 be bad?

So I am pretty sure I ovulated 11/2 I should have started my period 11/10, but didn't and dint get a + until I was 3 days late I took lots of tests. So 4 days after my + urine test I went to the dr and they did another urine test and betas due to my history. Urine +, beta 88 that was last Wednesday. They never called wig results until I harassed the poop out of them yesterday they called me last night and said my ONE TIME beta was 88 and that meant ectopic, molar, or threatened MC. Does this way of doing business sound right to anybody. I didn't think you just go one one beta. They didn't seem to want me back for another offered to refer me to an ob/gyn and I have heard nothing else. I assume they are basing their conclusion on LMP not DPO? And yes I posted earlier today and the longer I thought about it the more the number made sense and the more angry I got that they did me the way they did.

I am sorry you were treated so unprofessionally. I would get a second opinion and more blood work for sure.

i would get a second beta. it is not the first number that counts but whether it doubles in 48 hours. 88 is an OK value for 14-15 dpo, provided it goes up.
