Dark line from belly button down. Possible early pregnancy symptom??

Hi ladies I read a lot of stories on here about ladies reporting having a dark line from their belly buttons down. Is that a common sign of pregnancy or can it be related to hormone problems? I took a test again this morning which was bfn but I am curious as I also have this line which is a lot darker now. I am possibly 17dpo. Thank you any feedback appreciated. Xxxx Babydust to all

The line you are talking about is called the linea nigra and only gets noticeably darker by week 23 of your pregnancy. I wish you all the very best on your ttc journey. Good luck
