Question

2nd month TTC, 5 days late, negative HPT... What is going on?

My cycle is usually like clock work, every 31 days. We decided to begin trying for baby #2 last month and, surprisingly, my period came 2 days early on CD 29. So, I thought, "That's odd, bummer! Maybe next month!"
We continued "trying" this month, but I haven't started recording my BBT (was hoping I wouldn't need to) so I'm not 100% certain when/if I ovulated. If I did, we wouldn't have missed my "fertile window" because we only missed a couple days out of the entire month, and not consecutively.
I'm currently on CD37, no AF, no symptoms, just a whole lot of nothing- except negative HPT's. I've had plenty of those! =( I'm just wondering what is going on. I was 24 when my first was born, and she was conceived the first month we decided not to prevent. I'm mostly concerned about being this late when I have never been late before, other than when I was pregnant. Have any of you experienced anything similar? Anyone has suggestions for what I should do?
