Procedures to get pregnant with PCOS and low sperm count
My husband and I have been TTC #1 for 9 months now. We found out PCOS and insulin resistance back in June, then found out "mildly" low sperm count on DH's end this past weekend (great way to start my birthday weekend, right?). If we don't get pregnant this time, they're going to be sending us to a fertility specialist. What procedures did you have done to get pregnant? What did it all entail? I don't know anything about anything beyond trying naturally and I'm scared to death of cost (since most insurances don't cover anything like this) cuz we're just a cop and a nurse. Any help and experience and advice yall can offer, I'd really appreciate it.

They may start out putting you on Clomid or Femara and possibly an IUI is sometimes covered with some insurance company. I know many women who said they continue to do IUI'S for many cycles before moving onto if because the IUI is covered by their insurance. Ivf is a little more spendy. Everywhere is different, but my IUI cost about 650 total. That's the sperm wash, the iui, the ultrasound, and trigger shot. And it failed, but im pretty sure the timing was off. Think I ovulated way before the iui. I paid cash as I don't have insurance :-/

Im on my phone so i cant send the link but maybe worth to look it up?
