Question

Is it common to have a negative ovulation test this month?

I tested all negative for a week straight when I should be ovulating accordingly my calendar. I've tested consistently month over month and usually receive a positive during the week of ovulation. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Am I just not ovulating this month????

You may not be ovulating this month. It does happen sometimes. Are you temping? That's the only sure way to know if you ovulated or not. Good luck!

I believe this has happened to me this cycle. Normally I O'd around cycle day 15 or 16...I'm currently on cycle day 21 and have to get a positive opk. However I did have all the signs of ovulation. My cm was egg white on cycle day 19 and it has never actually been egg white...always watery. Furthermore my tempts have dropped and risen around that time so I think I did ovulate. I believe like she mentioned above, that some months we do not always ovulate. But also we could miss our surge as well since it can happen rather quickly. I think I might have missed my surge this month and next cycle I will test twice a day. Hoped this helps!

May just have missed the LH surge or had a more diluted urine sample? Did you get an almost positive?! I find they can be quite unreliable! Especially as you had other signs of ovulation-I wouldn't worry!
