Question

Really low hcg levels!

Hi ladies! I got a BFP last Saturday at 10dpo. On Monday I requested an hcg test. Levels came back at 28. I wasn't too thrilled with that, so I requested a follow up test 4 days later. Results came back at 35. I'm so devastated ???????????? that must certainly mean miscarriage right???

You are very newly pregnant so levels may be low. Some babies are slow at the beginning so don't lose hope. In a week or so ask for a trans-vaginal ultra sound. That'll help see where the development is headed. PS. HCG levels are different for every one's pregnancy so don't look for an average level for your DPO.

Wow our stories are so similar. My first BhCG was Monday and it was 24. By Wednesday it dropped to 18. I'm very sorry for your loss. Did you have any testing to determine the cause?

No I didn't have any testing. They just said most like chromosomal abnormality. That's what they said with my first one also.
