Shouldn't the line be darker or did I get a false negative? Help!

Hello all! AF was due Sunday and still hasn't shown. I took a FR gold digital yesterday morning at 13-15 dpo (I don't temp so this is just based on a solid smiley CB OPK) and BFP!!!! I was so excited I took a CBD an hour and a half later and BFN! Excitement turned to heartbreak. I've heard of false positives on FR gold so I got the non-digital FRER after work. Took the test this morning with FMU and I think I have a vvvfl! My question is, shouldn't it be darker if I already had a positive FR digital? Was that a chemical pregnancy? Am I pregnant? This TTC is so emotional and stressful. Any advice, similar stories, opinions, etc. would be appreciated!
