Has anybody gotten pregnant when having intercourse at 1DPO?
My cycle is pretty accurate and I've never been successful when having intercourse up to and including the day of ovulation. This month, we tried intercourse 1 day past ovulation so I'm curious if anybody has any success in pregnancy at 1DPO?

If you are actually a full day past ovulation, it is physically impossible to get pregnant. While sperm can survive for 3 to 5 days in your reproductive tract, your egg is only viable for 12 to 24 hours after it's released. In addition to this, after ovulation your cervix begins to close and cervical mucus often reverts to an infertile state blocking any more sperm from entering. This is why tracking ovulation and having intercourse before you actually ovulate (preferably with ewcm present) is so important. However it is also possible to ovulate later than you expected. So if you stop having intercourse on the day you thought you were ovulating but ovulation gets delayed and actually occurs a week later, you may miss your window. So it's best to start trying every other day at least 3 days before and continue up to 5 days after you expect to ovulate in order to optimize your chances.
