The only thing I can tell you is that Clomid sometimes isn't enough to ovulate. When TTC my first child, I did ovulate with 50mg Clomid on days 2-6. For my second child, I took 50mg, then 100, 150, 200, 250mg on days 2-6 (sometimes 1-5) and never got an ovulation. I had to take 250mg Clomid and FSH shots (Puregon, 200 every day from day 6 to day 13), then a tigger shot, to ovulate.
So don't lose hope, it's just a question of dosage and timing.
TTC 1 : 4 years
TTC2: 13 monthes (pregnant on a cycle without medecine!)
TTC3 : pregnant on the first cycle, 250mg Clomid and 250ui Puregon...)

Thanks so much for that info, So to update you, so cd39 comes and no af, I go in for labs ( hcg and estradiol) and an ultrasound. The u/s showed that I had 2 large/mature follicles and the re said my ovary was pretty large (cant remember the measurement that he gave), he didn't seemed bothered at al, he just said after the lab results we will let you know how we want to proceed. So I go to work and later in the afternoon, my labs are posted, hcg 1 and e2 469, the nurse said both my re feel for certain that they are in fact follicles and not cyst and to trigger with ovidrel, that night or the next day. So this past Friday night my fiancée gave me the shot,and now I m on cd 46 praying it all worked.!!!!!
