Question

How many days past Implantation can you test for pregnancy?

Hi. I was wondering how many days past implantation you should/can begin testing for pregnancy? Are there any factors that would make someone implant on the earlier side of 6-12 days rather than the later side?

Thanks in advance!

Hi dm2014 - I would definitely wait 48 hours minimum after possible implantation to test. HCG doubles every 48hrs so the later you test the better. If neg, wait another 48hrs or so and test again (or wait until AF shows is always an option but who can wait??) Possible to implant earlier in the 6-12 day window but later is ideal, early can sometimes be a sign of ectopic preg (obviously not ideal) - Best of luck!!!!
