Ovulating on the pill???

Im on the oral combination pill (for 2 years, never taken one late) and decided to take a ovulation test since my boyfriend freaked out about having clear stretchy mucous coming out of my vagina after sex. I told him it was lubrication and not ovulation discharge. It came back positive on the digital but the stick looked like this. False positive? My period is expected to come in 3 days now.. and this happened yesterday. Heres a link to the photo:

Im really scared and plan on taking another ovulation test today. We took one the night prior to taking this photo and it was an empty circle and no smear. But when we took this test, it just jumped straight to "peak" fertility without even having a "high fertility" flashing smiley face leading up to the "peak"
